Could you add a section that is dedicated to the [b]Nightfall[/b]? We used to get a 500 point EXP bump to our faction or vanguard, one week of EXP bonuses to all bounties, a blue flame on the character's head, and usually decent rewards at completion.
Also, like others have said, how about some awful decisions to weapon perks? Like how they took off elemental primaries, and field scout.

These are all very valid points. Personally I think Nightfall at its current state is Ok(ish), It doesent take that long to complete and after the patch you have a fair chance to get 300+ items. Thats my personal experience at least. The blue flame animation was cool, but I think the removal of the XP buff was one of the better decisions. When we had the XP buff, I didnt want to do ANY of the activities before I had a chance to complete the nightfall.. And with my friends it isint possible everyday. But yeah, weapon perks have too much COMPLETELY useless perks amongst them.. its almost as they would want us to [u]grind[/u] for them. :p

Are you okay with faction levels going up at a severely nerfed rate though? Nightfall really helped pump those up, especially with that 500 post completion EXP boost.
