this is what bungie wants to turn people into. They want you to actually enjoy grinding pointlessly. In this game, there is no advantage to playing everyday, because you can do all of your weekly shit in one day, and it is the only way to actually make progress after a certain point. And, those weeklies you will be dependent on do not reward you for skill or time wasted. RNG is the deciding factor, so that the MVP of the group could get shards and garbage, but the weaker members get the best shit. Not to mention that in an uncertain amount of time, when they raise the light level again, all of that grind will be as meaningful as year one. It is a nonstop cycle you can either bail out of or stay in and try and find some satisfaction with it. Not to mention that it is all focused on the same raid, so the grinding doesn't change at all. Literally nothing changed between 310 grind and 320 grind except the level of the gear. Kill the same bosses and pray to your God that you get lucky. Not to mention you could get what you want, and have it be worse than your current gear. I didn't mind destinys first year, but ttk was a major wake up call to me.
