I have just stopped playing, green globes for a level 40 - 292 guardian is just stupid and a wast of time. Also finding blue globes are all under my current levels and also a waste of time. God forbid you should give us more purple globes or even a Exotic now and then. The game really sucks and I would not be surprised if there is NOT a year 3.

The only thing green engrams are good for these days is just for dismantling for weapon parts and armour parts and personally I am willing to take all the weapon parts that I can get cause it's hard to get many of them these days I just hope they are true to their word when they said the Gunsmith would start selling them, I expect them to be sold at least in bundles of 5 or even 10.
