I agree to IB having very little incentive to play. That killed it for me as well.
I also agree that towards 310 and futher the hardmode is the only incentive and some don't do that, me included right now.
But I think the "you took away all me super strong weapons" argument is missing the point that prob. all these weapons are OP. You can argue that Bungie shouldn't have build them in like that in the first place, but in terms of balancing it doesn't make sense to have such strong weapons compared to the rest so sooner or later they have to go.
For microtransactions, I'm also worried that they will quickly overdo it BUT right now its just "useless" emotes etc. And I'm sure if you own a credit card you can make your own descission on what you WANT to spend your money. Right now it certainly doesn't make you stronger in game.
Before I go on commenting on details of your post let me just say this:
I respect your opinion but there are changes that have to be made to a game that exists for several DLC / iterations.
Creating a new game is something different than working on a "live" product. And the changes made with TTK certainly improved a lot.
And if you put it like Bungie as the big Umbrella corp. and you having "no choice" b/c of your "addiction" ... I don't think this will actually help your case.
Cheers
