I couldn't agree more with everything you've said. I'm less inclined to play Destiny a bit more every day. Its just a boring grind now. The raid rewards are absolutely killing it. I'm finding it harder to get my clan mustered to do a hard mode run, even finding people with half a brain on LFG are few and far between. I'm going to pick up Fallout 4, Witcher 3 DLC and Bloodbourne DLC and take a break from it for a while. I'll still come back for the odd raid but my time will be better served elsewhere.
