Hi there, I totally agree with you. I bought Destiny Year 1 and soon sold it again, because the whole leveling System just wasn't my Thing. I simply didn't have the time to grind endlessly for gear that would bring me to Level cap. So Destiny was sold, because I justn hadn't had any fun with it. With the realese of TTK I made Research. When it was cheap on Amazon I bought it again, you for 47€ I got everything that was ever released and I thought: 47€ for a game that would have cost me 140€ in year 1? Hell why not? And I have fun. I like the questing System and that I can reach Level cap without endlessly grinding. Sure I had some legendaries from year 1, but you know what? I didn't care. As you mentioned it is common to leave old gear behind and that's what I did and I'm happy. All this hate towards TTK is stupid in my opinion. Bungie made the game so that even People with less time can Play, like me, and have something to accomplish. It is just a shame, that the PoE for example has such strong enemies, but your rewards aren't on par with that challenge, but guess what? I can live with it. I will still try to defeat Skolas, just to get that nice ship of the Awoken. And other than that? Exotics from year 1 can be bought in the Tower without Xur, you just Needs marks or those shards. And by dismanteling old exotics you get the shards whith which you can be year2 gear of that item. I really don't get it. With this Option Bungie gives you the opportunity to get year1 gear back. So what if it's not gjallahorn? take that nice sword, that's we were waiting for. I even have that nice Iron Banner Emblem from year 1 that no one of the new Players will get. So there are achievements that stay as well. I don't get the hate at all...
