I'd be incredibly bored if I was still using fatebringer idk about you guys.. Need to get past that y1/y2 crap. Welcome to RPG style progression

This ^ I love the new weapons so much I haven't missed my old ones. I mean...swords! Why want Gjallarhorn when we have swords. And nothing in y1 feels as good as shooting an Omolon Scout rifle, I'm sorry lol. Even if the y2 weapons aren't as effective, you can hardly tell.

I agree. Honestly I missed my weapons for the first 5 days of downloading the dlc, but if we were able to progress them to a higher light then I wouldn't be exploring new weapons. People would just complain the new weapons suck and keep using everything from Y1. I haven't deleted my favorites and they can still be used so it's not the end of the world. I took a month off of destiny and planned on skipping this dlc, but here I am enjoying it. It's impossible to please everyone as you can tell with the forums

I've found new year two weapons that I love because of that style of progression. I save my faves from year one in the vault but honestly what's the point of year two if we would all be shooting ghallys still.. I think it's the fps people complaining without understanding the RPG parts of the game
