The issue I have with Bungie leaving Ghorn and the other weapons behind is that they helped lessen the overwhelming grind of this game. Ghorn wouldn't be anywhere near as useful as Black Spindle or Touch of Malice in the raid. Even in endgame PvP it is not very smart to waste an exotic on your heavy slot. Ghorn and the other weapons help players fly through strikes which is what most people want. The reason most people liked Destiny was because the grind < the rewards. The feeling of getting the Black Hammer or Fatebringer was way better then anything KF has to offer. Corrective Measure and HoC shit on KF heavies. Now the grind has been increased but the rewards don't feel worth it. Why am I going to grind for a weapon that isn't going to change my experience all that much? Hell look at the IB and Crucible loot bugs. You are telling me that Bungie, a fairly large developer with Activisions funding, couldn't have tested things like drop rates before hand? Bungie creates these problems and for some reason is praised when they fix them.
