I've been playing since beta on Xbox One and since Day One on PS4. There's no reason for me to do the raid and that kills this game. The raid weapons look horrible and the perks are bad to me. Plus having no elemental damage to primaries seals the deal for me not doing the raid. It was the only reason for me to complete the past raids. I could do raids to infuse my weapons and armor I do like, but honestly, I complete heroics and Nightfall missions just fine at my current light level. To me, they made the raid useless for so many. And the only reason I play is because I'm waiting for Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront. After those launch, I don't know when I will come back to Destiny. If they could add elemental damage to primaries either through the Nightfall (a random drop) or through completing the raid, you may see the number of players go up because they would be trying to get something. But the way the current system is with horrible drop rates for decent gear and weapons on raids and Nightfall, players get discouraged and leave. As will I when I buy other games I'm waiting on.
