While I agree with your point (to an extent) I have to say that exotics that you can get by using 3oC isn't all that great. It's either going to be armor (anyone want the Alpha Lupi?), y2 version of y1 exotic weapons (most can just buy those anyways) or if your lucky the Supercell, Telesto, Hereafter and if your on PlayStation the Jade Rabbit. All other exotics actually have to be obtained through quests. Plus if Bungie didn't want 3oC farming they should buff the rewards from the endgame content (both PvE and PvP).
