What I hate is 3 of coins. There is no way a strike should get better rewards than a nightfall or raid

The best is using 3 of coins for 2 hours and finally getting the exotic engram to drop only to find out when you decrypt it that it is 10-15 (at least) light levels below your current level. HA! It's FANTASTIC!!!

in theory you are right but since they require strange coins, you would have to debate nightfall vs. regular strike + amount of activity required to earn 7 strange coins

It's either going to be armor (anyone want the Alpha Lupi?), y2 version of y1 exotic weapons (most can just buy those anyways) or if your lucky the Supercell, Telesto, Hereafter and if your on PlayStation the Jade Rabbit. All other exotics actually have to be obtained through quests. Plus if Bungie didn't want 3oC farming they should buff the rewards from the endgame content (both PvE and PvP).

Your post makes no sense... as you can use 3 of coins in the raid too, right?

Well it takes about 15 minutes to do a strike, and about an hour to do a raid

There are also 3 bosses in the raid that 3 of coins works with so...
