So what you're saying is that you're an addict. That's not Bungie's fault. That's a genetic/character flaw. Don't blame Bungie for your bad genetics/habits. Anyways, congratulations. The first step on the road to recovery is admitting you have a problem

This game absolutely and intentionally caters to game addiction (speaking from experience).Let's take your stats Gator. Over 1000 hours played across three characters. Game was released 422 days ago. You've played an average of 2.5 hours a day, every day, for 422 days. What was that first step again?

Actually, the game is based on whats known as a habit loop. The important thing that makes it work is the reward thats given to keep the loop cycling. They have taken away the reward... idk what else to say. -
Wow. Self righteous doesn't even cover what you just spouted.

Actually, it kind of is Bungie's fault. They used behavioral psychology to hook people into the game. A lot of mobile apps use this same process. Just so you know, they could have just made the game fun and people would have wanted to play it. http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/04/02/bungie-used-behavioral-psychology-to-make-destiny-appealing
