The Op has touch of malice etc. and seems pretty far into the endgame in my view. What is left to him? Grind Oryx HM to incrementally raise his light level? Run strikes with 3oc to incrementally raise his light level? NF x 3 for the chance of a reward that might incrementally raise his light level? These things are all fun because the game is but currently they can also be frustrating and unrewarding. You might be in the fortunate position of having time to be a 'true' gamer and aim for light level 320 (I started gaming on the sinclair spectrum 48k so consider myself a true gamer also although perhaps I apply a different criteria) but the point he is making, I think, is that there is not enough left currently to keep him coming back. So he seems to have got to the point with destiny where he is comfortable putting it aside. He has satisfied his OCD. I agree with him, I have reached a similar point with it and the next update/dlc/whatever will probably draw me back. Then again who knows? I might be drawn back in by next week or even tomorrow...

I hear you on that. I had to nearly unlock every achievement in H5 before I started to play another game. I was really excited for Forge, but since it's not coming till December I was kind of upset. :(

Ya honestly 343 industries has done horribly on the halo franchise. Halo 1 and 2 were the best games i ever played and 3 was just as good just shorter. Ever since then each halo has gotten worse imo. Mcc was a huge moneygrab load of glitchy crap that still has issues to this day. Halo 4 was the worst 1. This one isnt bad but lacks the heart of the first 3 and keeping forge back is -blam!-ed up
