Their system makes it so that once we reach a certain point, we can't get any stronger than we already are. If we are on earth killing lv2 dregs as a level 2, we are doing minimum damage, but each time we level up we do a little more damage with a little more health to those lv2s, but eventually it maxes out. At lv7, you have the same amount of damage and damage resistance as a lv40 against those same lv2 dregs
