I am with you. My biggest complaint is that they decided to make all my year 1 weapons and gear obsolete. I grinded tirelessly for those, not just to obtain, but then to get the materials needed to level them up. And for what?? Such an absolute slap in the face to make all of that hard work meaningless! Not to mention how badly Bungie misjudged the benefit of having an abundance of really good weapons to choose from, rather than slim pickings. In other words, the experience would only be heightened if we could select from all year 1 OR year 2 legendaries/exotics when going into battle. Instead, they decided less is more, and that is a really bad marketing decision, IMO.
