I'm actually considering stopping all together seeing as how Bungie are punishing people based on their internet connection.
I know it's a 'controversial' topic. But I think it's in incredibly unfair, sometimes people literally cannot get a better service.

They should not ban but pair you up with other red bars, if you have a bad game then at least nobody else is suffering.
-
Understandable that you litteraly can't get better service, but why are you trying to play a game online with knowingly shitty internet? Thats the risk the user takes when buying a product. If I don't buy the right computer - or can't physically obtain one - I don't expect to play games which require specifications that I don't have. Thats on the user for buying something they can't, not the company.

Perhaps because people like the game? It's unfair. I'm not talking about myself here by the way, I have 100 down and 33 up now. All my ports are open and what not so I rarely disconnect. But I just think it's unfair on the others that okay the game. Of my last three addresses, my middle accommodation could only get a connection speed of 0.9 meg. I red barred in everything, and there was literally nothing I could do. But I still liked destiny and it's not fair to assume that people should t play a game they payed for for that reason.

And I enjoy playing Skyrim, but if I don't meet the neccesary requirements and standards to play it, I shouldn't expect to play it smoothly (or at all). The point im making is, its an online only game. If you have a shitty connection, what do you expect is going to happen? You can't possibly say they should be allowed to ruin other people's games who do have the neccesary requirements to play. If anything, chuck them in a red-bar only game type. They would be put on an even playing field with everybody else who is in their boat.

Well, I have amazing internet (350 MB download) that I pay a small fortune for, and I constantly come across red bar A-Holes in PvP that cannot be killed. Not to mention the constant "weasel" error disconnects at critical junctures of games/raids. It doesn't matter if you have great internet, or bad. Bungies servers just plain suck and they need to be fixed.
-
But do you see my point of how it's unfair that bungie punish people for theirs?
-
Yes, I see your point. Just saying that it isn't all good even if you have a good connection. I get punished for it all the time and it really sucks. I pay extra coin in order to have an excellent connection and I do that primarily for PvP. And yet I consistently come across red bar dudes that probably pay $10 per month for their internet service and they cannot be killed. That isn't fair either. And the weasel errors should have been fixed in year 1, but they probably never will be fixed. Bungie servers are just really bad, period.
