Why do you want to doom the human race, in the case of an apocalyptic scenario the likes the Darkness has proven it can manifest, by preventing Dead Orbit from leaving the Solar System? Surely, if they leave and we win we'll eventually meet up with them again but if we lose we just saved humanity.

If they leave, theyre nevercoming back. Its pretty clear in their statements that they are using resources that could help save humanity, and using them for their own gain. After all, why would they fight when they can flee? Breaking rules and making sacrifices on others behalf are justified by survival. [u]Their[/u] survival.

If we win and expand to the stars, we'll eventually meet up with them again. And anyway, aren't the rules they break YOUR rules? This is considering that, should NM ever gain power over the Consensus, their first decree would be abolishing it? That's an A* Hitler move.

If we succeed, we will begin again with a new Golden Age. Regardless, they are criminals who break not our laws, but the [u]Vanguard's[/u].
