Should Old Raids Be Relevant Again?
I'm not sure about you guys but I think VoG, CE, and PoE should make a come back. It would add a lot more choices of what raid you want to do and what raid gear you want to collect. I want to piss off Oryx even more by walking into king's fall with gear I earned from killing his son! What do you guys think? Yes? No? Maybe so? If you like the idea then smash the like button like it's that BASTARD RAHOOL!!!

I just wanted to apologize to those who see the poll as biased, I didn't really think of how biased it looked when I made the poll, I would change it if I could but I can't edit what's on the poll...voting...thingy...so umm yeah sorry. But if it helps, you can cover the biased part with your hand...or some tape I...I guess...*Awkward silence*
Edit 2: Thank you all for your opinions and ideas! One idea that I've been seeing and have taken a liking to (Haha Taken...N-No? Not working for you?...O-ok sorry) is having the difficulty increased and having the gear drop at 280 and have weapons drop with no burns (maybe random perks too). Keep it up!

Yes. There are so few raids in the game. I have no problem with not getting relevant weapons and gear out of it, but maybe hand out legendary marks each week for doing them. I'm guessing that raids are pretty time comsuming projects, so I can't understand why they want to leave them behind so soon when there's really not that much to do in the game.

Honestly a year two VoG, CE, and PoE are about the only thing that would drag me back to Destiny after Fallout 4 drops. I tried really hard to love TTK, but after the first few weeks I came to realize that all of the great changes came at the cost of making everything I did in year one pointless.... That forever 29 grind... pointless... Running Crota over and over so I could rock that bad ass Donny Darko bunny helmet... pointless... and well PoE was always pointless, because the guns sucked.. I mean by the time we finally got a Ghorn.... TTK came and it was pointless... I don't know, maybe I'm just being a bit Tumblr - Emo or something, but I like playing games where the things I grind for matter...

Destiny absolutely NEEDS to have more to do. The old strikes should come back, old loot should come back, old raids should come back. I'd be having so much more fun and playing a lot more if this were the case. Let me infuse an old Fatebringer up to 310, or a Ghorn, or my old raid gear, trials gear, ETC. There's no good reason not to have that. Is Bungie afraid we would be playing LESS if we had all of that old stuff back again? You'd see so many people back in VoG, Crota's End, doing all that stuff, grinding for gear, having fun with their favorite old strikes. It's sad how it all got left behind like this is an MMO where we have all this brand new and exciting stuff to do. In 2 weeks it was all worn out and done with. If they really want this to be the trend, they need to start releasing 2 new raids and 10 new strikes and a new solar system PER DLC. Having a few new missions, one raid, and the same old crucible and trials is just not enough.

%80 of this community thinks this one sided. imagine u are a person who just started destiny, u got work or family or whatever to prevent you playin midweek, you sundays or somethin to play. imagine a person with that profile and he/she still has tons to do in the game. yes they dont put much on the table to keep playin but on our-side we rush the game really quick aswell... on the grinding bit, if they would renew them and made them higher level , then people would say "oh they are lazy, they just give us the same things..." people compare single games against each other . fallout will destroh destiny, destiny still lives, cod destroys.... destiny is perfect at this point. you can do your raids quick in a day or two and guess what? still can play other games etc... and maybe im a member of a small group about this but im glad they arent bringing old stuff back. im glad there are no more gjallahorns solving everything- or thorn to be the best friend of people(including myself) - so no i dont think they should bring old stuff back if you want it you can always play and enjoy it... noones stoppin you

They should redesign the old raid armor with some new design patterns and maybe colors, and replace the poe armor with a new one, I didn't like the Hunter and titan ones.

1 ReplyYes. It's not that kings fall is bad. It's just that I like VoG and CE more. Mostly VoG. So I was excited when I got to run it again for NTTE. Add in some year 2 rewards and maybe some bounties and I'm all over it. And ofcourse make it harder with level 42 enemies or something.

Yes but not in the way they made NTTE require VoG. Thought it was dumb to make the only requirement Atheon but of course they knew no one would have the CP. Could have at least done it like the ToM requirement for KF and force us to kill specific things for specific reasons.
