Destiny 2 or 3 NEEDS to be a Prequel

***SPOILERS AHEAD*** Note: I don't expect most or even all of you to read everything, so don't worry. ____________________________________________ A quick synopsis of the game so far: Destiny 1 Game Beginning
You are awoken in the Cosmodrome, Russia abruptly no sense of where exactly you are or where in time you stand. Your ghost tells you you aren't going to understand a lot of things. Wait - what is a ghost? As you scour the abandoned building, you find a centuries old weapon of war, and continue to find a ship while fighting through hordes of "Fallen". You get to your ship and and cannot fight their leader just yet, so your ghost beams you into the ship as you take off. Some random stranger is watching you - but who cares. Your ghost takes you to the tower, you get to look around, bah, blah, blah. You then go back and kill the Archon leader and get a warp drive, something that allows interplanetary travel. You go proceed to get a verbal middle finger from the speaker. He tells you about telling you stories instead of just telling us for a span of an eternity. You explore the other planets, encounter new enemies, meet the queen, kill an important boss for the queen, get a gate lord's eye, and kill seemingly unnecessary bosses and get to the black garden. You kill everything. You don't bother to look around or investigate anything after finally getting to the black garden because you're too too busy killing things, because killing things is fun. Oh and Vault of Glass.
The Dark Below
You meet Eris, find out that she has a very... disturbing... obsession... with a Hive god named Crota. Save the Earth. No explanations, just do it because you're "one of the few guardians" she can trust. You are provided no reason at all on why you are doing this or why Crota is trying to do this. You kill Crota. You don't bother to look around or investigate the whole time because you're too too busy killing things, because killing things is fun.
House of Wolves
Wolves rebel against the Reef and the Queen. You have to pay back the queen... for... proving yourself to her in the first place...? You meet Petra and her Eliksni Comrade Variks - perhaps the most if not only interesting character to this point. Hunt Wolves, yes? Capture Skolas, serve as the Queen's executioners in the Reef Arena. You kill Skolas. You don't bother to look around or investigate the whole time because you're too too busy killing things, because killing things is fun.
The Taken King
The big one. It provides ACTUAL IN GAME LORE. Whoaaaah! I'm impressed Bungie, and... what's this...? CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT??? So, apparently you piss off another but largely more powerful Hive god named Oryx for killing his son two DLC's ago... still no detailed explanation on why we did it, but ok. You do a bunch of mission for Eris and the vangurd to get aboard Oryx's ship. You defeat him, he "takes" himself, you kill him in his dimension. There are continuations on the House of Wolves story(should have been in HOW in the first place)... and you kill Orbiks Fel, a Fallen Machine God, and are the savior of the reef once again. (I think?) But oh wait... the Queen's dead. You actually look around for once and scan different things for some lore on this DLC... if you want more lore you still have to use site grimoire. It doesn't really matter because the beginning of the game was so dull and vague that it really doesn't matter.
____________________________________________ So, what needs to happen? We need a prequel to the game in order for this to make sense at where we start at Destiny. Whether you are fighting pre-golden age or after the Collapse we NEED the following information. In game, not in grimoire: -How did we wake up in the middle of nowhere in Destiny 1? -What was it that made the golden-age so important? -Why do the fallen want Earth? Is it because of the Traveler or is there another reason? -What event(s) caused the collapse? Or how did the collapse happen? -How were the Awoken born? -What happened in the Battle of Twilight Gap? -When did the Hive take over the moon? And why? -Who is Osiris? -Brother Vance? -Who is the speaker? -Did Banshee-1 exist yet during the golden-age? -Being able to witness the first exo consciousness somehow would be cool, through a video or even a recording. -The Ishtar Collective post-collapse. -Rise of the Golden Gun, the Last Word, Thorn and Dregen Yor, and The First Curse. -Was the Black Garden actually a place of life? -Where did the Ahamkara's come from? -The Ahamkara hunt? Yes, I know you won't be able to make a story out of everything listed here but please, please, please look into these. We NEED to know this.

 • I can answer a few of these questions. 1.our ghost woke us up after searching for the longest of time to find the perfect Guardian. 2. the golden age was so important because it was our golden age, look up what golden age means it was like a paradise world for humans. better question, why was it not important 3. the fallen want the traveler because it was theirs first, except they called it the great machine but, like it tried to do to us, it left them and moved to us, causing the whirlwind (which was the collapse for the fallen). 4. what events caused the collapse? well the traveler upon waking up on mars activated it's power which woke up the vex, alerted the fallen accidentally, and the hive found out through the god wave, as for the cabal they heard a war was going on and land opportunity was open so they took off for us. then they just rekt us because we had shit for space weapons. 5. don't know how they came to be but they were created from the people who tried to escape the collapse and something happened. 6. the battle of twilight gap was a battle between us and the fallen when all the fallen houses came together to tried to get the great machine back(traveler) but the fallen house of wolves never showed up because they were at war with the awoken in the reef, ultimately causing the fallen to lose. 7. the hive took over the moon because it was the closest planet to earth which is where they want to be because they want to kill the light. 8. Osiris was a guardian who wanted to seek the forbidden knowledge of the hive and decided he'd try to find the nexus point for all their portals wand found that the vex were involved and proceeded to get an obsession with the hive. 9. brother Vance is there because Osiris want's to test the guardians he's not the only one. 10. everyone existed in the collapse otherwise they would be here. one could assume he was in the golden age because of his knowledge of it. 11. can't help you there. 12. the Ishtar collective is there because scientist saw something cool on Venus and poked at it, only to find out they just woke up the vex. 13. all guns made by crazy peolpe because they were poking at stuff that they shouldn't have been, except the last word and the first curse which were made by Tex Mechanica. 14.the black garden is technically a "place of life" seeing as how that's where the vex are born but they vex's intentions are still shrouded to us so we've got no clue as to whether or not it will all work out in the end so. 15. the ahamkara are presumed to have some relation to the hive worm seeing as how they talk in a similar way "oh bearer mine" and like to make deals, it is possible that they were also in reaction to the god wave because they showed up when the traveler popped up and everything else starting going down. 16. the ahamkara hunt began when the ahamkara started making bargains with the guardians but the the bargains were asking too much and so we needed to call for their extermination. Why are there only hunter and warlock the only one with their scales for armor, because the titans aren't greedy power hungry guardians who sought out the ahamkara, only the hunters and warlocks were dumb enough to make deals to get power. there you go, felt like homework but now you have your answers. have anymore questions?
