As far as I can tell everything just kills anything that's not a part of it's race or alliance. The Human, Exo, Fallen alliance kills anything that's not apart of it. The Cabal kill everything that's not the Cabal. The Vex kill everything that's not the Vex. Fallen and Hive are the same way.
