That's rubbish and anyone with common sense who isn't trolling knows that registered players at this point in time means jack.
The real question, which we'll probably never get an honest answer to is how many players are currently ACTIVE?

Lol, I'm not trolling or stupid, you're making the same point that i am That's why I don't buy that number at all 3% of registered players? What is that in % terms of active players? Nearly everyone i play with trys....doesn't always succeed, but 'trys' are counted in that 840k And thats spread across all 4 consoles They'll never just put the number out there, I suspect because it's a shockingly low % of subscribed/purchased/downloaded Just look at the trophy attainment numbers, they're about 24-30% on ps3 for some pretty basic trophys like get rank 1 with crucible, get rank 1 of vanguard Aquire and equip a pc of exotic gear, have all legendary gear equiped I would love to see numbers for the other systems
