I have a feeling it won't be that way with the next DLC.
Edit- this is not "hope". This is a "feeling". If you don't know the difference, don't even comment

You can stop hoping now. They had three major chances with every dlc and a lot of other smaller chances with every patch to lead things back into the right direction. HoW was where destiny was at it's best imho. But now, just look at all the chances they got to fix stuff and nothing happened. Remember the templar and atheon cheese with aoe grenades? Remember the crota cheese? Patched within two weeks. They did their best to stop players from getting easy loot that literally affected no one else. And the thorn running rampage in the crucible? An use for wormspore? Unsatisfying loot drops from KF raid? Timegated exotics that everyone is complaining about? It takes MONTHS for Bungie to react. But hey at least we get to pay for events like festival of the lost or for emotes... And we will pay for the next DLC anyways. Always one step forwards but at the same time three huge steps backwards.

Edited by PushedBean764: 11/6/2015 10:24:42 PMYou should know that by now, people always come crawling back to a game they thought they quit playing, just because a new dlc released. That's why there is dlc, so people keep playing

it will be too short - 5 story mission, two strikes and that will be about it. People might be back for Destiny Two and for a day here and there when Bungie drop a new mission or gun..

WoW, I'll come back 3 or more expansions later lol
