7 RepliesThis could be viewed as biased because I am an avid MIDA, but I see no difference in getting headshots between this and any other weapon. MIDA's higher aim assist is there to balance out it's mobility boost in relation to shooting. If I aim for the head, I get headshots. If I don't, I either miss or get body shots. Aim assist has very little impact on my gameplay, unless I snipe and someone runs past my reticle and screws it up. Every weapon has it, so there's no reason to throw MIDA under the bus. On that note, most shooters have aim assist. Doesn't matter if it's CoD, Halo, BF, or whatever, they have it. People don't realize that even though it can be annoying to battle , without it, gameplay would be unnecessarily frustrating. Aim assist is there to fill the difficulty gap between shooting a weapon in real life opposed to shooting a weapon in a video game.

4 RepliesSame thing used to happen on Halo 4. Used to watch bullshit like this all the time in theatre mode. Too many times I'd strafe out of someone's fire only to see the bullets curve towards me and not continue in a straight line. In theatre mode you'd seen the tracer fire at a slight angle when leaving the gun barrel. I suppose most games are guilty for it to a certain extent but it's beginning to put me off shooters knowing that a total retard can go toe to toe with me even when he can't shoot properly.

I'm not butthurt, but I don't understand the problem. It looks like a skilled player playing Crucible. Nothing more, nothing less. If you think that there isn't a learning curve to make those shots, you're kidding yourself. Yes, I see some aim assist, but honestly there should be, unless you like Crucible matches that end 2 to 1. Not all, but many of us (mainly me) wouldn't get a single kill without it.

You are acting like you discovered there is aim assist in this game. Bravo. Clearly there is a skill gap in this game that is not emphasized by ones ability to land precision hits with primary weapons. Otherwise there would be no difference in how people perform in the crucible.

So what are you trying to prove here? your playing a video game if you want to have no assistance pick up shooting as a hobby, I promise you that you will not receive assistance. This is mind boggling, this guy talks about how much he hates the game yet he takes the time to make a video about it? This is a video game, its game play is unique. This isn't halo, or call of duty or battlefield, if you want to play one of those because they're better then why are you wasting your time talking about a game that you don't like?

CoD has even MORE aim assist. Honestly when two or more players are next to each other my reticle is dragging through the mud.

Bullet magnetism bro, it exists in pretty much all hitscan based games. Even Halo has it. A game that is offering a 1.5 million dollar prize pool in the HCS this year.
