Think bungie timed the micro transactions perfectly, just before these games came out they have made a shit load of money.

Dude you are so right. They were just laughing all the way to the bank. But I think they are kind of frustrated they have to do work again on the next expansion to keep some of their player base. They are saying well -blam!- now we have to re skin some guns and enemies again, -blam!-
-
Actually, that brings up an interesting point: Implement micro-transactions right before the big releases; folks can't afford the big releases; no choice but to keep playing Destiny.... O.o Then again, I could be one of those crazy conspiracy theorists....

Get your tin foil hat ready!

Too late. I folded mine into the shape of the Illuminati eye. ^_^

Nooooo! Now I have to hear bdobbins use his instead!!!!
-
That isn't crazy at all - think of how many on the game are still in school. Most of them probably are not old enough to have a job, and when they do "earn" some money, it is unlikely enough to keep up with all of the big releases. Add to that, holiday will be here before you know it, and many will receive those new games then.

Too think that big money company's don't think like that is insane.
-
Nah your not, they def look at things like that. Just think they timed it really well, get more cash outa people before they move too a different game.

So true, though. Just about all money-making these days is based on some meticulous analysis of some kind. XD
