I'm so close to leaving. I used to love this game. Now it's just a terrible grind, which is sad because this is a good game or even a great one at its heart.
I don't like it, my friends don't like it. All the game is for me is:
>Dailies/Weeklies/NF
>Buy Gear (Xûr/Vendors)
>Repeat
I haven't even bothered with the raid because by reports, the grind for gear isn't great (shards).
It's not fun anymore, and I have no drive to play. I haven't played for a few days and I don't want to really.
I'm pretty much done. I can spend my time better on the Witcher or BF4 or Batman or Fallout.
And why spend more money? I've put over $100 in to just end up disappointed.
All there is for me is the social aspect, which is gone pretty much without my friends.
I'll keep an eye on the game and play every now and then. If it gets better, I may pick it up again, but I doubt it will.
It just makes me sad.

Stopped at exact same spot. Loot or no loot to not do the raid at least once and then complain about lack of content and boredom just makes 0 sense.

I'm not complaining about the lack of content. I simply feel [b]bored[/b] with the game. No matter how much I try to put a different spin on it. It's just simply not fun anymore. I just feel like there's no incentive.

As much ad we all love it at the end of the day its a game. If you are not having fun then yes its time to try something new. Destiny will never die because of some people leaving

I didn't say it would. Many seem to feel the same however. Bored and tired. I will probably leave. Might occasionally check back and do something to see if it feels fun again but I'm doubting it will.

I've heard so but I can't even be bothered. I feel tired of this game. Like when I watch a TV rerun for the 30th time. Just putting the game in I feel like I'm preparing for being bored and a grind fest. Pretty much what I wrote to EM4N141. Just doesn't feel fun anymore.

Sounds like you need at the very least a break from the game. At worst to just move on altogether. Nobody should play games if they're not fun, nor watch reruns if they're not entertaining. Good luck guardian.

Why not the raid? Of course not everything's handed to you but you feel great when you get that 317 LMG, it's really fun

A part of me wants to but I simply can't be bothered with this game anymore. Also my friends don't really play anymore either. I know I can use LFG but it's not the same for me. And I'd probably get endless shards with my luck. The grind is real. Isn't it terrible? I used to enjoy this so much. At one point I was pumped to get on and do [b]patrols.[/b] Now? I don't even feel like doing a 10m mission to continue the quests. Smh.

Use the 100.io it matches you with a group of people with your play style, if they are doing something an email gets sent out

Thought about it but sadly I'm not into trials. PVP isn't my strong suit in this game, and with the customary lag and DDosers (apparently) I wouldn't get anywhere. :/

Even crucible isn't fun for me. Pre 2.0 I was happy running around (even with thorn and felwinters dominating the field) but now, unless I have a pretty good match, it feels like a chore for me.

Yeah, I've quit now completely because I have no motivation to play this game anymore.

I haven't touched the game for over a week I think. Forgot what playing what i wanted too felt like. I'll be playing once more a while from now to see if a break made a difference, but i doubt it will. Good Luck gaming.
