Less people on LFG, less topics on the forums, etc.

5 RepliesI find it funny that people blame "the departure" on hard mode loot. LOL hardcore raidiers dont realize they are a small minority in the destiny community. Relaitvely speaking not many players give a damn about your hard mode loot

Bungie takes care to not release any info that alludes to a "sinking ship" phenomenon, but looking at the data they DO provide shows that, yes, perhaps people are leaving. (They blamed the over 50,000 fewer lighthouse goers on the Matchmaking system, doubtful) Source for info: Weekly News Update - check it out if you want. Really puts the whole "27million accounts" number they brag about in perspective. Sure you have over 27million accounts...if the majority of them aren't playing your game it doesn't matter.

Those were all the 5 year old children who kept bothering for a level 320 to carry them, and kicked the 320 for being "Unskilled" It cleansed the population.

However with titles like Destiny the more [b]quality[/b] content that gets added in consistently will keep the game going until its' sequel is released. However especially right between and leading up to these updates players will go to something else. Especially now that it's the Holiday season. Even as I say all this you know a few of them or a good chunk of them will return, maybe not for a long period, but they'll be back now and then to check up on things.

Edited by L33r0y-J3nk1ns-Q: 11/6/2015 6:12:53 AMI see it to the waiting for weeks and having to pay more to wait longer for them to release things that should have come out day one of ttk,and for example the 1st curse takes 3 weeks to get and sucks keep in find you have to be rank 5 to get it,I don't like cod but I know if i buy it I am getting 100% of the story and game,not a base and dlc and a expansion to give me a idea about a story,why destiny is failing they wait you to stay so they drag the 1hr thing to a week thing or weeks for a item that sucks and make promises but won't be able to follow up on them through,the more people leave the harder the raid and other events will be

Bc all the new games are coming out. Especially the big titles such as CoD(of course) Fallout 4 (long anticipated) battlefront etc. And destiny is getting faded out at this point. The raid rewards suck n trials rewards as well. I love ttk but it's at the "burnt out" point again.

I don't think the game is dying at all. I do think although the the forums are dying out. It's all just dumb, dumb posts constantly. But the reason the forums are getting crappy is because people that last year were looking for people to play with more than likely formed clans or normal groups with these people they met.

5 RepliesYup, somewhat because of he hard mode loot system, but also due to the new light level system and lack of new stuff, the fact is that because light level is now a thing everything other than the raid becomes pointless once you have a basic armoury. But when you go to play the raid and get no loot or even any useable loot you feel deflated and give up basically. That's my opinion anyway, I've been playing some of my stored games over the last few days and I'm starting to see reasons why I might not come back for a while.
