NERF THE GOD DAMN TITAN NOW!

It is really -blam!-ing stupid that I had my hopes up for trials of Osiris, and then everytime you run into a hammer you have NO -blam!-ING CHANCE. I'm pissed off and don't care what you titan main characters have to say about it you WILL be getting a god damn nerf/debuff!
IT'S INEVITABLE THAT YOU'LL BE NERFED VERY SHORTLY. BECAUSE THIS IS -blam!-ING BS.
•
This has been sufficiently popular that I thought I'd update it for post-Taken King. A Guardian fireteam arrives on the Dreadnought. They quickly realize that Oryx's minions are aware of them, and their presence is most assuredly not welcome. A horde of Taken charges toward them, Psions splitting like amoebas, Thrall jinking about, and Captains hurling balls of blindness. Things get bad. the stormcaller falls, with super at half-charge. The hunter might be moody and solitary by nature, but she protects her own. She leaps into the air, void bow brightly aglow. In moments, she has pinioned the offending Taken. Her razor-edged sword flashes up and down, returning them to whatever plane of hell spawned them. As the last one vanishes, the hunter revives the warlock. A short time later, the two of them find themselves besieged again. Things look bad. The warlock calls forth a storm, and floats into the midst of the Taken, lighting spewing from his fingers, and Taken fall like wheat before the reaper. However, the foul swarm returns, seemingly in even greater numbers. Things look bad. Then, a plasteel-armored blur races past. It's their solid, dependable Titan, soaking up their orbs of light. Moments later, they hear a fearsome clank behind them. and then, a barrage of incandescent orange hammers smashes into the polluted tidal wave of enemies before them. With courage renewed, warlock and hunter slam fresh magezines into their weapons and fall in behind their comrade. Eventually, they accomplish their mission. Zavala congratulates them, and Cayde makes a few smartass remarks. They transmat to their ship and return to the City. That night, they buy each other beers. And get a bit tipsy. And yes, the hunter and warlock still squabble a bit about who's got the best abilities. It's as if they never learn the lesson, but the truth is they knew it all along. The Titan is used to their habits. He just smiles, sips his beer, and tunes them out. He knows that tomorrow, they will watch each other's backs again. They will watch each other's backs until the Darkness vanquishes them, or they vanquish it. Because no matter what... they're all Guardians.
