Goku wins. By several miles. Atheon teleports him? http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Instant_Transmission Instant Transmission allows Goku to teleport outside of time, then back in at pretty much the time of his choosing. As long as he has a target to focus on. Crota being invulnerable? Goku has the power to destroy the very plane of existance that Crotas oversoul inhabits. Oryx? Easy mode. Destroy the Dreadnaught, destroy Oryx. The Traveler? Being that the Traveler is essentially dormant at the moment, it wouldn't even be a fight. Guardians would fall in waves, barely able to comprehend the speed and force with which Goku tears them apart. And the very worst case scenario, Goku destroys the Earth and everything on it. Same with the Moon, Venus, Mars, the whole Reef... pretty much every square foot of Sol. Goku is overwhelming in Strength os basically all Im trying to say.

  • 1. Goku travels instantly NOT through time this is why he can transmit back and forth between lightyears so no Aetheon still wins by a mile as Goku can manipulate time In the slightest. Also you haven't mentioned the fact that the oracles Templar and Aetheon can wipe Goku from existence 2. Your right Goku would win against crota but because he can blowup the entire pocket DIMENSION it's because he could wield the sword 3. Oryx takes Goku instant gg throw everything out the window as Goku doesn't have the TRAVELERs light (Ki is not the travelers light) and therefore cannot resist it the second Goku comes into this universe and oryx knows it he is taken

Atheon doesn't have ki for one so that puts him in the same class as the androids, also the time travel talks about going light years in distance. Past Venus isn't "light years away" also goku aint smart enough to do the math required to make a specific jump back or forward (since he wouldn't know if he was in the past or future for that matter) and to top it off he knows nothing of the relic or oracles. He can't beat atheon if atheon teleports him. And he's got a high chance of being teleported since he loves to waste time trying to talk to his enemies before he actually tries to fight them even if they open with a barrage of attacks. He always starts on the defense unless it's a more formal fight like when he fought bills or in a tournament pretty much anywhere else in the series. Edit - Also sure goku has the powers of a god, but he doesn't know how to use everything on a whim. Cell said it best when he said "you can have all the power in the world but its useless if you can't catch the person you're trying to hit". In this case it'd just be Goku struggling to figure out what's going on. You're giving him way to much credit for being able to handle a situation of this magnitude completely on his own. Not to say the others would be much help since they too are also clueless about destinys' basic mechanics. The only people I can think of that would truely be able to assist him for a win would be bulma and Dr gero assuming they weren't immediately killed. And I only say them because they were easily two of the smartest people introduced in the show. King kai is good and many of the others would also qualify as being smart, but not technical smart, they know ki and energy. Non of that is at play in destiny.

  • He's made jumps to king Kai's planet which is in a whole different realm. He has traveled planet to planet looking for Broly and goku has light because in dragon ball yakon is a eater of light and he tried to eat Gokus

  • Atheon cannot be tracked in the same fashion as Broly. Remember how hard it was for them to find and defeat the androids? They gave off no power signature. Broly radiated energy at pretty much all times after he killed his dad. And I'm not denying goku can go between realms (which is still different from time travel, goku doesn't have the same travel ability as Dr who's TARDIS) but in dragon ball z there's only 3 or 4 that are mentioned in comparison to an infinite number of instances in time inside the vault of glass, plus like I said goku wouldn't know where he is and or where he needed to go to even think about teleporting back on his own. But even if through some stupid low probability that he was able to teleport back, did he bring the relic? No? Did he kill the oracles? Hm. Looks like hes blind and well on his way to being lost in time.

  • Don't the vex give off energy? I thought that's how we found them

  • Yeah but it seemed like more of a jump signature. Like in the movie jumper, they had machines to show them the rips. Here the exo stranger and the ghost did most of the tracking for us.

  • You don't think goku would notice even a jump signature?

  • He would notice the sudden disappearance and reappearance for sure, they leave a trail that shows which direction they went after all. The thing is they only teleport to you, no one really questions where they are coming from or where they are actually trying to go. Goku would probably look at it and assume it's a lower grade version of instant transmission with a significantly shorter range when he saw the lower downs of the vex do it, but should he be forced to teleport at random he wouldn't know which way was really out or that he was trapped in the first place. He might assume he's just in the bosses world and wait for atheon to also teleport to him to finish the fight. The vault of glass is almost like a grand scale inception. If he gets teleported to the past or future on mars and he does find a way to teleport back to Venus it would be the same time as mars. For Venus he would teleport back to the original position possibly to find out the the vault isn't there or doesn't look remotley close to the same. Worst yet he could teleport and have his ability be tampered with because he isn't travelling through standard slip space anymore and he could end up flinging himself further in the past or future. Top that off with everywhere he goes may or may not exist with a side of infinitely confined multiverse and you have a very lost and blind ssgss.
