This argument is flawed in the sense that the developers should be making changes based solely on what players want.
Sometimes the things players want are bad for the game.
Vanilla weapons were created in a way that it left very few end game options, and the only way to expand that weapon base without leaving them behind was an inevitable power creep that would either trivialize encounters, or make enemies even larger bullet sponges.
Field scout, range finder, final round, etc., complained about or not, these perks either allowed people to make unbalanced weapons, or abuse in game mechanics. They need to be changed or removed.
Some things were changed to limit how fast you could progress, like nightfall rewards. Otherwise people blow through content and then complain. Did they do it the right way? No. It needs to be fixed (again).
Yes, I will agree that limited the amount of strikes was a bad move. They should seek to expand their base to revive old strikes and raid.
And while I am sure being edgy is fun, and your trying to lend yourself some credibility by worrying about your thread being taken down, it won't be. Not by the ninjas. If enough people report it, it gets temporarily removed until a Ninja can restore it.
