Why? The raid snipers and hereafter have higher AA. I saw the raid snipers at least as often as 1k stare in trials this past weekend. They just can't res snipe, so I personally wouldn't use them. 1k stare is fine as is in terms of aim assist. It's not OP, and it still takes practice to use. Not just anyone can pick up a sniper and be amazing with it.
