All aim assist does on snipers is slow down your reticle. It doesn't actually move it for you or change the direction of your shot so those people killing you are just good at sniping

While aim assist doesn't lock on to the head it drifts your aim to the body. You adjust from there. Now there are other perks which help aim assist like hidden hand, etc.. But any enemy that drifts into your line of sight will pull your shot to the other guy. No big deal but very aggravating when 1 more bullet would kill them.

Edited by radabe8686: 11/4/2015 1:51:43 PMAim assist does move your sights in the direction of the enemy, as seen by the drift you get when aiming at an enemy while another enemy runs across your sight-lines. It pulls the reticule away.

Watch the video on planet destiny the developer explains aim assist for tards. They show video evidence of what I said

Try what I just said, it always pulls the aim away.

Then explain why the downside of aim assist is that if another enemy runs by it pulls your reticle towards them.
