No, the more content we buy - the more money they make. If I buy game for $X and then play for 6 mths they would make $Y profit If I buy game for $X and never play it they make $Z profit $Z > $Y

  • Oh, your concept makes sense, if Bungie had actual people onboard the dreadnought, patching bullet holes in walls. Thats not the case. The content is created and released. Not maintained The more hours players spend grinding on a game, the more leverage bungie gets to lobby for more cash from microsoft and Sony.

  • Perhaps so, I am ignorant on how much Sony and MS give out to developers. I always thought it worked the other way round re licensing of games.
