"Resort to" holy shit the language you're using to talk about a video game. The phrase "resort to" is used to describe acts of violence in almost every other context it's used. Did a family member die because they didn't have money to buy food because they spent it all on dances? Let's calm down here with the hyperbolic language.
Moving on, who cares? You can buy DLC or not buy it, depending on whether or not it looks fun to you. That never changed. Now you can buy some -blam!-ing dances if you want, as well. That's the whole story here. You can purchase content and IF YOU WANT you can purchase cosmetics.

Did you actually write that? I literally addressed different contexts In the exact quote you used. And yes, the phrase "resort to" is followed by "violence" (resort to violence) a majority of the time.
