I'm on Xbox One and currently looking into a wireless gaming headset for around $200. I am starting to play crucible more and more and feel that a decent headset would help me notice enemies sooner.
I'm wondering what the more seasoned players use (besides Astro's, $200 is my limit).
Edit: Figured I would summarize what I am seeing the most.
AstroA40 (some sets can be bought for under $200)
Turtle Beach XO Seven
TB XO Four
Stock headset
HyperX Cloud II
TB XO One
Based on all of the feedback I am seeing, I think I will go with the XO Sevens to save some money and get the best of all aspects.

Wireless, I don't have. Plantronics RiG, I do. Excellent set for the price.
Its got a wonderful mixer and has over-ear cans. The cans you can take with you as an audio headset. It's $100.
Edited by MtlRocker: 11/3/2015 9:27:33 PMI bought an Xbox pair. It's a full headset unlike the pair you get with the system. Costs something like $80 and includes the controller attachment you need to hook up any headphones. You don't really need a great headset for Destiny as the audio cues are not like CoD. The headset I recommended did pick up on the audio cues in CoD though. This is my own opinion about this entirely... I enjoy using Turtle Beach Ear Force XO FOUR Stealth. It isn't completely wireless as there is a chord that goes from the headset to the controller, but you don't have to ever worry about charging it. It's pretty reliable in terms of comfort, sound quality, and microphone quality. It even has adjustable chat and game noise levels along with bass boost levels. It costs about $110 after taxes and such. I recommended this to some of my friends and they like it.
