To think that a Warmind can be smarter than the Vex, time traveling war machines all connected through one, giant hive mind. It was impressive to say the least. As luck would have it, Rasputin has had some unforgiving times. David handled the Omnigul problem before, and he would imagine that the Devourer Shank wasn't all that difficult do dismantle. Zavala had given David a task to tie up any loose ends before dealing the complex. This was a perfect oppurtunity to steal codes for more than just stealth drives.
