[b]Neptune stopped in his tracks, slowly turned to face Garuud and spoke lowly.[/b] "Nah, I don't believe I know who you speak of. Go ahead and enlighten me as to why you're looking for him."

" I believe that you do, if not only because you are one and the same. Plus on top of that I was given a pretty detailed description of your looks and demeanor. I also know about your past.... well the amount I need to know and that the writers told me to know." Garuud popped his shoulders and loosened up. "So, are you going to come with me the easy way? Or the fun way?" Another voice spoke from Garuuds mouth. " ooooo pick the fun way, pick the fun way." it said, and another voice spoke " Oh great, another fight. Cant we get a job that doesn't involve fighting. Like Mexican food testing... that would be awesome." Garuud smiles. "Yeah it would! High five!" Garuud raises his hang to high five the non existent person. " no high fives! Were voices in our head! "One of the voices said. Garuud slowly lowered his hand and looked and Neptune. "So, what will it be?"

[b]Neptune thought for a moment.[/b] "The fact that you seem like a man of.. Ehh decent fortitude, I'll take you up on the easy way." [i]No fights Neptune, no need to draw attention to yourself.[/i]

"Fantastic! Follow me! "Garuud turns and gestures to a ship already priming itself. 'Were off to see the wizard"

"Alright then. Off we go." [b]Neptune follows behind.[/b]

Garuud hops into the ship and looks at Neptune " Buckle up for safety!" As soon as Neptune was buckled in he took off and started going into the direction of Venus.

"So what am I needed for? You're not filling me in here. What organization do you work for?"

" I guess I do owe you that.... considering you came with me all willy nilly but to best explain it, I will need to tell you a story." Garuud looked at Neptune and then continued. "So, a while back I was hired to take out a certain Kell, I ended up killing him without much trouble. But in the midst of the fight I broke into a building that was obviously a laboratory. I heard a voice coming from the computer on one of the walls. It was a recording on a loop of a female (kinda cute short impish) talking to a much taller individual. That is when the taller individual snaps or something and throws her into this room and locks the door along with this... Tech. When the recording ended there was this figure standing behind me with a gun drawn. He explained that he needed the person who locked the door to open it. But that he was sent away to go work for the speaker.... getting the gist?"

"Ah. So it appears as if my work has come back to bite me In the ass. I'd like to meet this person you're working for, so I can kill them and be on my merry way back home to report to the speaker. You have no idea what you've been thrown into my friend, and that is why I'm allowing you to live when we get to your boss." [b]Neptune ponders the possibilities of whom this person may be...[/b]

"That's the thing! They said that you would say that, and that I should tell you that you are a little late on that. I cant explain more than that, other than the fact that they offered me something that I could not pass up." Garuud said matter of factly. That was when they landed on the surface of Venus outside of a decrepit building. "last stop.... sin city"

"They knew?..." [i]This person must know me very well... I just can't figure out who.. Agh this is so aggravating![/i] [b]Neptune stepped out of the ship[/b] "Lead the way, just don't try anything stupid."

"Bahaha, they said I was perfect for this Job." Garuud walked into the building and lead Neptune inside. Once inside Garuud pressed a button and said "wait for it..... wait for it..." Expecting a door to open. But instead the walls near Neptune lit up and lightning jolted from it hitting Netpune stunning him causing him to shake and stutter on the ground. It kept shocking him until his vision faded from the pain. "Sorry buddy! I had orders, they knew you would try something otherwise.... sleep tight!" Garuud said just as Neptune passed out. When you awoke you were strapped to a chair in a dark room and you heard a familiar voice. "Why hello old friend.. Fancy meeting you here. You and I have some discussing to do."

[b]Neptune raised his head to see a shady figure with the voice of someone he knew.[/b] "It can't be.. You're dead though.. How did you escape from the wreckage?.... Athena.." [b]Neptune lowered his voice.[/b]

" I didn't.... not really" The figure said. "What happened to me was because of you, and you will pay for it." With that she removed her hood and vex tech could be seen worming its way through her face and neck and into her eye. "It repaired me, and made me see you for what you are. YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME." The receptors kicked on in her voice to up the volume to almost screeching. "But before that there is the matter of your payment." Athena said as she turned to the now appearing Garuud. "its on the table there." Indicating the table across the room. As garuud made his way over "Now for loose ends" She pulled a pistol out and shot Garuud in the back of the head. He muttered " ....uncool..." As he dropped to the ground.

[b]Neptune was shocked at her actions but he couldn't seems to figure out why she was blaming him for the wreck...[/b] "What do you mean that was my fault? For the cabal to attack us? That was an ambush and there was nothing I could do about it. I did my best to get everyone out alive! I didn't mean for you to be left behind but it was either you or the whole mission to be compromised!"

"You obviously do not remember. Let me enlighten you." With that she grabbed Neptunes head with her ice cold fingers and Vex tendrils burrowed themselves into Neptunes head connecting the two. When he was done screaming he sees the scene play out. He sees things from her point of view. Running..... Athena sees Neptune. "Neptune! The Cabal have attacked us! What are we going to do?!" *Explosions rock the ship* Neptune pauses for a moment thinking deep thought lines furrowing his brow. He then says " I have a idea to save us." With that he picks Athena up and throws her into the cargo room where the un activated Vex artifact was stored. "Well, one of us anyway." He then shuts the door and the sound of a escape pod could be heard taking off. Explosions rock the ship and the ship begins to descend rapidly losing altitude. Pounding could be heard on the cargo bay door. The vision becomes cloudy and the pounding becomes louder on the door. That is when the ship hit orbit and impacted on the building that they currently reside in. The vision continued. It shows a red haze and a hand could be seen wiping her face and coming away with blood and a hole can be seen in her abdomen. That is when the Vex artifact activates and the tendrils latch onto her and start burrowing into her and going into the hole in her stomach embedding themselves into her and becoming one with her. *The vision ends* You come back to the room as she removes the tendrils from you. "Now you know... now you know why you must PAY. You made me what I am!" A sound could be heard behind her as Garuud stood up and spat out the bullet. "You double crossing son of a.." He was interrupted by her shooting him again. "Rude!" He yells as he heals.

"Ahh shit..." [b]Neptune looks around for his gear, he sees it in a corner and decides he needs to get the hell out and finish what he started. He tries to reach for the knife sheathed on the back of his pants. He popped his wrist out of place in order to reach the knife. He starts to desperately cut away while Athena is busy with Garuud.[/b]

Garuud is obviously very un happy with Athena. " You couldn't leave well enough alone!" He rushes her tanking shots and grabs her by the neck and body and brings her down onto his knee where the cracking of bone could be heard. He then started spinning her and throws her into a wall. "Hot potato!" and she impacted the wall with a crunch and stood up again. The vex tech repairing her broken body slowly. "Why wont you die!!??" She screams.

[b]Neptune cut himself free and bolted for his sword.[/b] "ATHENA! YOUR BATTLE IS WITH ME, NOT GARUUD!" [b]Neptune charges for Athena, jumping in the air to slash at her from above.[/b]

" I can't!" Garuud yells as he pulls out his Fabian strategy and starts poring shots into Athena. Then as Neptune charges into her and knocks her down he pulls h Out his imobius and fires shots into her face.

"Well that was an interesting sight to see.. We make a pretty good team there buddy. Except you could use some practice with your social skills. Anyway, why don't you let me take you under my wing and we can both work for the speaker?"

"Interesting.... I may think about that." Garuud says as he stands. Another voice speaks from his mouth " But we make a lot more money as a merc." Another voice spoke up. "But its a steady paycheck..." "True enough!" Garuud said. "Im in!" Garuud says as Athena stired and started to get up. Vex tech showing through her wounds. 'No! Hammer nice day!" Garuud yelled as he activated his hammer and started throwing hammer after hammer into her. She still would not go down.

"Alright sounds nice and well but what do we do with her? She's not dying." [b]Neptune took his sword and drove it through where the vex tech originated from. [/b] "Maybe that'll do the trick.. Quick let's hurry and get out of here."

The Vex tech began traveling up the sword towards Neptune. Garuud then Forced open her mouth and shoved a incendiary grenade into it and kicked her away forcing the tech to let go. " Bombs away lil doggie!" Garuud yelled as her head exploded in flame. Then they began running out of the building as the sound of her screeching after them followed closely behind. "That should slow her down for a bit. Tenacious!".

[b]Neptune grabbed his smoke grenade and threw it at her.[/b] "Have fun finding your way out of that!" [b]Neptune and Garuud ran out if the building and towards Garuuds ship.[/b] "Garuud, do you have any idea why she won't die?!"
