War. The fundamental, irrevocable truth of life. In order to live, one must know war; one must learn to kill without discrimination to power or sentience, and in doing so, weed out all possible threats to one's own existence. This was the Sword-Logic which Beowulf had learned in the pit. This was the Sword-Logic which Beowulf had come to learn in his ten years in the pit. The Sword-Logic could never have prepared him for this. The Eliksni bent himself over the railing of the Warmind's iron fortress, hurling the contents of his last meal over the side. He had finally learned to direct the Blight after spending an eternity cooped up with the remains of Oryx's sword, but without the prime piece— the essence of Willbreaker itself— he had no way of truly conquering it. Which meant that, while the Blight was forced to obey him, it certainly didn't have to like him. Which made traveling through them a pain in the ass. After he had finally collected himself, the Eliksni took up his ATS/8 and his Shrapnel Launcher, and set off for his task. He needed more power. He needed to find the remains of the Devourer before the false-Drinkers did. He set off into the bunker, ready for anything. ((Open))

  • Rasputin. The unpredictable, highly dangerous, yet a possible ally to the Tower. To think that a Warmind can be smarter than the Vex, time traveling war machines all connected through one, giant hive mind. It was impressive to say the least. As luck would have it, Rasputin has had some unforgiving times. David handled the Omnigul problem before, and he would imagine that the Devourer Shank wasn't all that difficult do dismantle. Zavala had given David a task to tie up any loose ends before dealing the complex. This was a perfect oppurtunity to steal codes for more than just stealth drives. David cruises along the Cosmodrome, nearing the bunker entrance. B: We're nearing the bunker David. D: Alright. Back again to the bunker! Let's see if Ras would thank me for kicking the wicked witch of the west out of his hidey-hole. B: David, you tried stealing nuclear launch codes last time. I don't think he'll be happy to see you. D: Hush Beachball, I'm not some terrorist ok? We both know that's for the dreadnaught. And Oryx's ugly ass face. B: Oh dear...

  • Beowulf sniffed the air. Light. That damn stench of undeserved power. He needed to act fast. Beowulf ventured past the Core, walking deeper and deeper, till he came across the Arms Testing Facility. He growled at the sight— the false-Drinkers made it to the Devourer first. He coiled his hand into a fist, pure Blight running up his fingers as it opened four ruptures within the Facility, surrounding the Guardians as they looked around, confused. It was time to see what the Blight could truly accomplish.

  • David hopped out of his sparrow and started walking on foot towards the bunker entrance. He found the open door, and his heart sank. Someone got inside again. Right after a group of guardians take down the Devourer Shank. He rushes inside, going past the room where he encountered Omnigul and the Might of Crota. Who got in? Was it fallen? Hive? Taken? He'll find out soon enough. And put a bullet where it needs to be. D: Beachball, call for reinforcements! B: Got it! Calling them now. David continued on, bold as ever, running head on into certain danger.

  • The Guardians— or more, what was left of them— floated throughout the room, their Light drained and their bodies discolored by the Blight as it fed on what remained of their power. Beowulf cast aside the Taken shell of a dead Ghost, watching as it bounced around the room a bit before walking toward the husk of the Devourer. He pried apart charred and fused pieces of metal, staring inside from multiple different angles before finding what he was looking for. "There you are, my pretty..." He plunged his hand in, peeling apart the wires and shrapnel before pulling out a silvery-white box, an inch and a half thick and seven inches wide and long, with a green light and a red light on the far left of one of the thin sides. The black box. A drive that contained what it had done to get past the Warmind's defenses, where it had done it, how much processing power it had required, the exact blueprints of the Devourer... And perhaps the most valuable prize of them all. What the Devourer had found.

  • David reaches the balcony that oversees where the Devourer Shank lay and Beowulf looks at his prize. David paces quickly for a moment, thinking what to do. He then decided that the best course of action is to shoot the glass and jump through, a fitting entrance for the man David is. He pulls out his Hawkmoon, fires the right amount of round to the glass, enough to crack the glass. He takes a few steps back, and runs full speed at the window. He crashes through the window, flips in the air for style, and lands gracefully roughly a meter away from Beowulf. Impressed at the captain's size, he decides to be a little extra careful around him. David pulls out his Hawkmoon, and aims right at Beowulf's head. He notices what's on Beowulf's hand, something he could also use to his own advantage. D: What's that in your hand big guy? Seems pretty cool.
FYI, David's a hunter, likes to make jokes regardless about the situation.
• Beowulf laughs, deep and scratchy, as the Blight coils around him to the point where breathing becomes a chore. "This? It is mine." The Blight erupts in a shockwave of Darkness, as the Guardian is flung back into one of the heat sinks.

  • David crashes onto the heatsink. The electric volts hurt, but it's nothing he hasn't already felt with the years. He gets up, and shoots a Beowulf knowing he won't go down easy.

  • Garuud a Titan shows up having followed Beowulf from earlier. "Hey long tall and stinky!" He yelled as he jumped from the observation booth that David had blown out. "Remember me!?" He yells as he tosses a incendiary grenade in front of the Captain. Following up with well placed shots from his Fabian strategy.

  • Beowulf summons a Wall of Darkness, absorbing the Solar energy and the bullets with ease. With a flick of his hand, the Wall curls around his wrist, and whispers fill the air... "I AM BEOWULF! KELL OF HOUSE WAR! I WILL NOT BE FELLED!" With a mighty roar, Darkness and Blight flit through the air, summoning Acolyte's Eyes, spewing bolts of black hatred at the Sunbreaker.

  • "Oh crap." Garuud said as he dodged to the right and kept firing at the acolytes eyes. "Anger issues, you should take a hot shower maybe get some chamomile tea." Garuud turns towards the Camera and shrugs. Then rushes up to Beowulf firing with his Fabian strategy and throwing a thermite grenade behind Beowulf so that the flames would shoot at him from behind.

"FOOL!" Beowulf, caught between a rock and a hot place? Hardly. Caught between a rock and an opportunity. Beowulf charged likewise and threw himself headfirst into the collision, dodging only seconds before impact and throwing his leg in front of the Titan's own, thus throwing the Titan off balance and giving Beowulf the opportunity to throw Garuud right onto his own grenade.

  • "Hot tamale!" Garuud yelled as he stood up the burns on his Exo frame showing " So rude.... and oddly refreshing." Garuud said as he began to heal the burns instantly. " You are obviously different from most captains. A lot smellier to start!' Garuud began running to the heat sinks and jumped onto them launching himself off of it and throwing a incendiary grenade directly in front of Beowulf and Garuud went through the fire burst and landed on Beowulf pulling out a shotgun mid air and blasting him in the face twice. His shield eating the first one but his face took the second one. But he seemed to hardly feel it.

  • Garuud a Titan walked up from behind a building. " I was wondering what made such a ruckus that wasn't me... Its usually me. So whats your story little one?" Garuud said, from his stature and his voice the fact that he is a Exo is evident.
