I just don't talk a whole lot on my mic and I can't get a grasp for the mechanics if I can't get into a raid group but yet everyone requires I know how to do the raid. I can't get experience if no one takes in a newbie

There are several of us out there that take at least one or two new people through the raid every week. You don't have to talk much, just be sure to speak up when needed, and be sure to let them know you have not done this before.
