People don't understand the fact that guardians can die.
Everytime you wipe in darkness you die for real like any other game with a reset concept.
Eris whole squad were guardians and they wiped on oryx ship and are pronouced dead.

Yeah I mean guardian can revive by ghost but the reason those gaurdians die by the hive is because the darkness eats there light
