It's time to grow up. Ditch anime and watch some real television. I'll start you off with some good shows to watch:

I've never seen Breaking Bad. I watched the first 2 seasons of Game of Thrones and it just never really gained my interest.

In case you haven't realized, lots of anime watchers like myself watch those shows as well...

Because there is a definition of "real" television. And don't get started on calling it more "mature" when most of what you listed was just violence and gore for the sake of itself, or drugs.

Still better than shows that revolve around animated girls showing off their bodies to keep the viewer's attention.
