Christmas is secular? The birth of Christ, our Saviour, is secular? Just because it has been commercialised doesnt make it secular. Then again: Ramadan is a month of fasting and introspection... its not a celebration.. neither is Eid... you arent meant to be celebrating, you are meant to give thanks to what you have and remember those that have less

  • First of, it's YOUR savior, not mine. In addition, Christmas didn't even start as a Christian holiday. And no one I know celebrates the birth of YOUR savior, but rather their loved ones.

  • No, christmas didnt start as a Christian holiday... it was a pagan holiday which is still not a secular holiday. And whether you are celebrating the birth of a saviour (which by the way its doubtful that it was in december) or not doesnt make it not a religious holiday. In fact im sure you dont celebrate Eid or Hannukah or Quanza and yet those are still religious holidays whether you are celebrating them or not.
