Pledging my allegiance to the Darkness

I see a lot of people in this forum talking about how they will support the Traveler. Some of you want to join factions that worship the Traveler in their name and logo. Some of you even want to go inside the Traveler like some kind of weird reverse baby. Well let's face facts, people. The Traveler is a leech. It has suckered humanity into basically acting as its slaves, protecting it for no reason. I don't know about you, but the Traveler has done nothing for me, personally, except to cover my City in shadows and rain down bits of debris on my head. I know what you're going to say. "Oh but wait, the Traveler arrived to protect humanity when we were about to be wiped out." Well let's just put it this way: what if a gang of criminals ran into your house while running from the cops, and then shoved you into the basement so you wouldn't get killed in the ensuing shootout that would destroy your home and all of your possessions? Would you then pledge your allegiance to the criminals? Exactly. On the other hand, look at how cool the Darkness is. The Darkness grants eternal life (well, undeath, I guess, but you know what I mean). The Darkness grants awesome powers too, just like the Traveler. Finally, when I join the Darkness, I get to fight proudly alongside the Hive, which of course are undead royalty. Undead. ROYALTY. My allies will be the chivalrous and brave kings, queens, and knights of the past -- would I rather trust them or some crumbling disco ball hovering above my hometown? Exactly. So to sum it all up, I look forward to jumping into Destiny and pledging my allegiance to the Darkness. The Darkness and its minions already occupy the spots where all the great loot is to be found. It will be fun watching all of you fight against hordes and hordes of my allies trying to get some cape when I can just stroll in anytime and take my pick of all the sweetest gear. I look forward to fighting against you brainwashed Travelbots in Destiny. Who else is with me?

 • ahhhhhh wait... so you are not grateful to the traveler, because he brought you back to life yes, that's right. without the GHOSTS of the TRAVELLER, you would be as dead as a stone. but he brought you back, so you can chose on what side you want to stand on. the darkness doesn't give you that option, or at least we don't know yet. at least the traveller gives you the opportunity to chose. i am going to be honest now. i am a huge fan of the star wars universe and i kind of see Destiny stepping in its foot prints. I see myself as a grey jedi. A warrior in between the two colliding sides. I would help a family in need in a blink of an eye, but on the other hand follow no moral standards (my english is not perfect and i didn't find another word, there might be a better fitting one.) anyways, I chose the traveller, because he gives me the option to decide what I want to do. I can do right in the moment of need of humanity, but wrong in the moment of my own survival.
