Every time I go down I just immediately load the last checkpoint, because I know for a fact that the AI won't get me up. They're always too busy running into walls or just standing there watching me die about a metre away from them. I don't know if it's just on heroic, but a single rocket launcher shot can't take down an Elite, which I honestly find -blam!-ing retarded.
