Not that I enjoy getting nothing, but shards and energies were only because they were necessary to level the gear. Since there is no special materials requirement for KF raid gear (thanks for that Bungie) there's no reason to award materials.

Moldering Shards maybe?

I don't know. I just don't think it would matter as the shards are only for normal mode and you can get nearly enough shards from every normal run to get the extra loot roll at oryx (where he gives you a level 300 version of the same thing you got 2 checkpoints earlier :( )
