So sick of abusive Raid Teams...

You guys know the ones. The teams that are always elitists, that get pissed off every time you die, the ones who berate you for playing a Warlock, and especially those who implement a strategy completely different than what you're used to and they expect you to be able to get it down first try. Don't tell me I'm the only one that's been there? I play hardcore, don't get me wrong, but when it gets to the point where name-calling and yelling and screaming happens, that's not motivation. That's just downright abuse. Edit: It sucks to know so many people can relate to this bullshit, but good to know there are others out there who are just as sick of it as I am. :)

  • One of the best ways i've found to get over the fear of failing at raids is research and a patient group that wants everyone to learn and be ok with being terrible for a bit. Sounds like a fantasy, no? I myself was always a quiet raider doing basic things that made it easier to put the pressure off. Im referring to a long gaming history. Early on i was shy and not confident about taking on any responsibility. After being asked/told to do something that if i failed at...we would all pay for, i of coarse choked and found myself entirely turned off of raiding for a while. Years later destiny rolls out and for the first time i found that volunteering for harder tasks as i learned about them built up my understanding and confidence... Each jump in the current jumping puzzles was a trial and failure at some point or another. Laugh it off and have fun. Thats the group you want. We are all capable of great things when we work together. Keep searching for those that share your goals Guardian, it will pay off.
