As Anaxis watched Ginger exit the portal, it became evidently clear that Atheon was almost finished with tearing apart time. Most of the floor flickered sporadically, along with the rest of the room. The only sections of the floor that remained unaffected were the sections around the portals, the middle platform, and the section under the crystals where Atheon stood.
"That's one piece. All that's needed is the other and you can reconstruct the Shield."

Garuud comes out of the right portal carrying a shield piece and threw a grenade into the group rushing out behind him! "Ginger! Got my half! Where is Alice at?? We are going to need her for this.. We need cover fire to take him down for good!" Garuud rushes to the center to meet Ginger.

Ginger runs out of the portal, almost falling off of the newly created cliff in his haste (though time had no meaning here, so it was primordial at the same time). He looks over to the perch where Alice was positioned, but sees nothing. "She's not there, but we have no time to worry about her now. Get ready to collide!" Ginger leaps from the platform, which is almost immediately after erased, and lands on the central area. He pours his light into the shield, giving it a bright blue aura, and allows you to do the same. "Honor's yours. You get to take the shot."
