The two went to Ax's camp, which consisted of a wooden pavilion with a campfire and safe for his weapons. While the Loner was settling down, Ax cooked a delicious looking meal. He picked it up with a steak fork and put it on three different plates: one for Ax, one for Loner and one for Dew, Ax's husky. "Alright, Lobster brisket, cooked with local wildflower honey and glazed with a tart-and-spicy chicory rub." Ax sure had a way of making things sound good. After debating in his head whether to try it or not, Loner took a bite. It was the best meal he had eaten since his mother's cooking. "When your mother's abusive and your father's never home, you learn things for yourself," Ax explained. "I picked up this dish on the road, and perfected it. I went through 68 goddang recipes! But, in the end, I finally found the best one. Do you like it?"

[i]this is good[/i] As The loner took each bite the food seemed to taste better and better. He couldn't remember the last time he cooked let alone tasted something this good. "Oh yes, i like it." After a few minutes of eating The loner heard a voice over his helmets mic, "sir?" "sir you there?" He quickly grabbed it and ran into the tree's. "i'll be right back!" he went until he was about 50 feet from the camp. "yeah, I'm here; report" "we have minimal casualties; many devils dead some prisoners" "ask if they want to join, kill the ones that don't" He returned to the camp and sat down, "sorry about that" he chuckled.

"House of Devils, eh? They still owe me 2,000 glimmer and a new sparrow." Ax picked up his gun and walked over to Loner. "Let's go, my friend. By the way, do you have a name other than the Loner? It seems sorta sad that you're alone. So... Do ya?"
