It's not a cheese, but it's a strategy that bypasses a small mechanic.
Just like the Golgoroth one orb strategy!
It's not cheating/cheesing or anything like that, but I'm pretty sure Bungie didn't intend for us to do it that way. So, it's not a big deal.
