Maelstrom's task was simple. Stop House Devils from running supplies to the crippled House Winter on Venus. Like most Fallen encounters however, things were bound to not go as planned.This has been a problem ever since Oryx arrived(More specifically his Taken). It was recommended by Cayde-6 that Maelstrom should investigate.(He chose him because he was one of the last original Nightstalkers.) The Devils' supply run would go like this, A Devil Skiff would touch down at Campus-9 with a team led by a Reaver Captain. They would make their way to the Shattered Coast and deliver the supplies and then leave.

Maelstrom's Ghost: Why do you think House Devils would help House Winter? The last time the Fallen Houses banned together was at Twilight Gap, and you know how that went... Maelstrom: They're probably doing it as an effort against the Taken. That... or they are preparing to join the Devils, without a Prime or a Kell what are they supposed to do? Maelstrom's Ghost: Yeah that would be [i]bad[/i]. Anyway, we're going to need a team. Maelstrom: Alright broadcast this: "This is Vanguard scout Maelstrom, I need two Guardians to help investigate the 'Devils on Venus' situation. We'll meet at by the Shattered Coast, right outside the Ishtar Academy."

Maelstrom was sitting on a rusty bench when Davian arrived on his sparrow. He got up and asked, "Hey! You here from my message? Or are ya' just passing through?"

"I'm here to help of course"said Davian. "What this about house of devils being on venus I thought their operations are on Earth?"said Davian ghost.

"They've been sending supplies to the Winter Fallen ever since the Taken showed up." "If this keeps up we may end up with Fallen in every corner of Venus." Said Maelstrom.

"I see, so are we going to disrupt their operations so they won't at firepower or support they needed to attack the city." said Davian. He had flashback about the battle if the twilight gap, he lost so many friends to the fallen. "How many fallen do we have to dealing with?"asked

Maelstrom: A small team of them most likely. It's possible they will be on the move soon so we need to hurry. They're at Campus-9
