No. Solid reasoning by Bungie.
I generally used FB/Fang, Jewel (void) and VoC in most PvE games. Same guns everytime. No elemental primaries adds the necessary variety.

No, it doesn't. You mean to tell me you have a different set of weapons for every strike and not a single weapon is used in 2 strikes?

I like that they did away with elemental primaries, as elemental primaries indeed limit the pool as such weapons are ALWAYS better when a burn is on.

Exactly, YOU WANT. You CHOOSE to switch your weapons back and fourth regardless of how good they are. There was a crutch for Nightfalls? Are you referring to whenever the mod was a burn? They still have those and nothing has changed other than you primary cant benefit from it. Know what people including myself do now that there isn't primary with matching burn? We pull out our secondary and heavy, use it the whole strike. So now youre saying using my secondary/heavy is a crutch?

Lost in translation. What is your point? My point is that you do not have to choose an elemental primary for a specific activity, thereby eliminating all other weapons, as elemental will always be BiS.

So even the simple question at the end was too hard to answer? Seriously? You never had to USE(not choose) a certain weapon. What you constantly use as evidence is the Nightfalls and nothing about them has changed(other then our 25% burn nerf). When its a burn ill use my Long far gone, Arc Ill use 4th horseman or Supercell(which is a Primary) and Void ill use Telesto. My primary wont be touched. Only thing they have done is restrict choice even more. Again, are you saying using my secondary and heavy is a crutch as well?

Lol. I do not have any inclination nor obligation to indulge you all in your questions. If you do not use a primary, you are limiting yourself. And I find it hard to believe you did not fire a single shot with a non-elemental primary when a burn is on. If Bungie would still include the elemental primaries, that would severely limiting the pool within the primary class. To expand on this: it is not only the burns, but shields in general. Harder to take down with a kinetic weapon than a matching elemental primary. Latter being a crutch. You do not have to agree with me at all. My opinion on the matter and I believe Bungie made a good choice. Ciao.

You mean how you limited yourself in Y1? Oh wait thats a question and for some reason you cant/wont answer with a single yes or no, lol. How would it limit the pool, you just said "I play around with whatever weapon i want" "WEAPON I WANT" "I WANT" Your own responses contradict each other. You go ahead and take 2 minutes to take down a shield. Me and the rest of the people with common sense will continue to kill them within seconds and fly past you. Ciao.

I can use ANY primary want. I'm not bound to using only the ones that have a certain burn. I have fun using different weapons. In the past, I felt I could only use a few.

how has anything about the enemies changed since Y1? They haven't, you were never bound to any one weapon. You CHOSE to only use burn weapons.And i know if your secondary or heavy matches the current enemies shield you pull it out to remove it. Then MAYBE switch back to Primary. Having A burner made no difference on strategy in Y1 and not having a burn ih y2 means secondary and heavy will be used twice as much because if you hit an enemy with the wrong burn it will take a min regardless of its attack lvl.

It did matter because if you were playing with a group of people, they get aggravated that you are not using a primary with a burn. I enjoy being free to use Red Death on a strike or in the raid. Once primaries with burns come, guns like Red Death, Jade Rabbit etc. become PVP only because everyone will expect you to use an elemental primary.

So basically you let others bully you in to using correct burners. Nightfalls haven't changed and neither have secondary or heavy weapons so they will continue to get aggravated at your red death when your fusion will do better. Burns in pvp do nothing as far as i know and if thts your only defense this conversation is pointless because i dont pvp.

I think the shields are weaker. But, when it's a tougher enemy with a shield, I use my special or heavy weapon. I have 3 1,000 Yard Stares, one for each burn. I think the cry for elemental primaries is just lazy. So many people want to play the game as fast as possible and get their loot. Why play? I don't get it.

So your secondary having a burn is ok but not you primary? You realize your own contradiction right?
